Chapter Chapter 16 in Governance Models for Latin American Universities in the 21st Century, 2021, pp 267-279 from Springer
Abstract:
Abstract The purpose of this chapter is to introduce several tools and reiterate the previously discussed proposals for the future of university governance in Latin America. We seek to optimize planning and resource allocation, improve communication, cross-sector partnerships development, and the environment provided for staff and students’ development. All of these proposals will be made in consideration of the association and support of stakeholders, the region's social, economic, and political context, and the recent dramatic social challenges such as the COVID-19 pandemic, the glooming economic recession, and current social unrest.
