Chapter Chapter 8 in Governance Models for Latin American Universities in the 21st Century, 2021, pp 139-158 from Springer
Abstract:
Abstract The USA boasts some of the top-ranking universities in the world. In this chapter, we investigate the strategies for university governance, and the models commonly used among US Higher Education Institutions (HEIs). In addition, we review how and why a student selects a school in the USA, factors that the recent COVID-19 Pandemic has caused, what we have learned, and best practices for better governance in the future.
