Abstract: Abstract This chapter, “Pricing in the Context of Structural Modernization in Post-COVID Economy”, analyzes the gradual restructuring of the economy from a raw material orientation to modern high-tech developmentdevelopment on an innovative basis. The shockshock transitiontransition to market relations, combined with priceprice liberalization in an unprepared economy and population, led to a sharp drop in productionproduction, living standards, and inflation. A raw material monopolymonopoly and an oligopolyoligopoly arose in the country—as a result, an annual increase in prices and tariffs. The corona crisiscrisis, combined with the aggravation of environmental problems in the world, sharply raises the question of changing the development model, a gradual transition to alternative energyenergy sources, and the modernizationmodernization of production on an innovative basis. In accelerating this process, a significant role belongs to the improvement of the pricing methodology, which facilitates the flow of capitalcapital into industries that ensure technologicaltechnological progress. The study substantiates the need to change the methodology for the formation of internal prices for the products of the fuel and energy complex in order to create conditions for the restructuring of the economy for innovative energy-saving technologies. Based on the analysis of the sources of cost growthgrowth in the backbone sectors of the economy, recommendations have been developed for improving domestic prices for fuel and energy complex products, providing an increase in efficiencyefficiency in related sectors of the economy in the post-COVID period of its revival.
