Chapter Chapter 1 in Business Design Thinking and Doing, 2022, pp 1-13 from Springer
Abstract:
Abstract This chapter introduces the building blocks of innovation: what it is, what it means and how it works. Influential ideologies, conditions and factors are outlined. A simple four-stage design-driven innovation development model acts as the critical framework for understanding how innovation happens, why some organizations have failed and why others succeeded.
