Abstract: Abstract Entrepreneurship means an individual taking control, exercising control over their own economic activity, harnessing their own creativity, and critically determining the value of their own work. Entrepreneurship is an exercise of economic freedom. A common misconception is that republicans don’t want to include the business community in their vision of an ideal society or see entrepreneurship as some tainted activity. This isn’t true, if anything republicans understand the role entrepreneurs play in society more than any other political groups. At one basic level entrepreneurship can be seen as a form, an expression of creativity. However this individual entrepreneurial activity raises an issue regarding how to deal with shared creativity. Our work environments, our economies are from a micro level upwards rooted in interdependencies. In the digital computerised environment this interlinking and interdependency is even more profound. So for entrepreneurship to be socially and individually valuable we must find a way to discuss and solve the shared and interdependent aspects of work and creativity, who owns and shares ideas in the workplace? Who benefits when there is a monetary, power, or status related profit or return on the efforts invested in the ideas?
