A chapter in Economic Losses and Mitigation after an Employment Termination, 2022, pp 89-93 from Springer
Abstract:
Abstract In order to estimate the Plaintiff’s lost earnings in an employment termination case, there are a number of essential components that must be addressed. These components are the total compensation that the employee would have been expected to receive had their employment not been terminated, the employee’s attempts to find replacement employment, the total compensation they can be expected to earn now in their replacement employment, and the determined present value of the potential future losses. This section includes a list of commonly required documents, guidelines on collecting information, a sample employment termination case information checklist, and sample plaintiff interrogatory questions.
