Chapter Chapter 10 in FinTech Women Walk the Talk, 2022, pp 127-137 from Springer
Abstract:
Abstract This chapter explores the several external factors that have affected FinTech community in the drive towards a better and more successful workplace. I look at the COVID-19 crisis and what that has done for remote working and opening the conversation around flexible working. I cover the UK government’s input on the gendered struggle as well as its lack of input. Societal changes, investor decision-making, and the rise of a people-first workplace culture are each discussed. I show how each of these factors has helped or hindered the inclusion mission in different ways.
