Chapter Chapter 3 in FinTech Women Walk the Talk, 2022, pp 27-34 from Springer

Abstract: Abstract In this chapter, I show the attributes needed to be successful in FinTech and why these attributes give the community a huge opportunity to become truly inclusive. I talk through resilience, agility, and innovation within the FinTech community. I delve deeper into the purposes of the companies, what they transform and the problems they solve. I connect the mission of FinTech businesses to ‘culture creation’ and how this is paramount to changing attitudes and encouraging diversity of thought. I cover how learning from one another is central to the FinTech culture and is often seen through networking. Such demand for learning and diversity of thought makes FinTech a perfect place to lead the way for equality in all workplaces.
