Chapter Chapter 10 in Post-Heroic Leadership, 2022, pp 185-190 from Springer
Abstract:
Abstract To tackle the complex challenges of today we need leaders who know how to focus on the task and put themselves in the supporting role. Post-heroic leadership has the potential to be the type of leadership best suited for this task. Qualitative research evidence based on interviews with post-heroic leaders explored various topics related to the nature of work and presented a conceptual model of post-heroic leadership. Post-heroic leadership represents a way of moving away from micromanagement and towards strengthening healthy relationships and fostering innovation. It also shows how to face wicked problems without dehumanizing work.
