Chapter 26 in Hidden Champions in the Chinese Century, 2022, pp 213-219 from Springer
Abstract:
Abstract Profit is the ultimate measure of entrepreneurial success. Hidden Champions are significantly more profitable than the average company. Among them are numerous profit stars. Their equity ratios are high. They should rethink their reluctance towards IPOs and private equity investors. Self-financing from cashflow is unlikely to be sufficient against Chinese and American competitors in the future.
