Chapter Chapter 5 in Green Behaviors in the Workplace, 2022, pp 97-127 from Springer
Abstract:
Abstract This chapter focuses on countries where the promotion of green behaviors is most apparent. Regions that have so far been neglected and merit further consideration will be identified. Our results will then provide the basis for an initial overview of the dominant sectors in the field. Paradoxically, the evidence suggests that the sectors that have received the most attention globally are not those that represent the greatest risk for ecosystems. Finally, we provide a description of the preferred approach and methods (e.g., quantitative, qualitative, case study, mixed method) by country. We will then make a plea for a diversity of academic approaches in environmental management, a principle deemed vital to the sustainability of research in this area.
