Chapter Chapter 4 in Policy Responses to the Interwar Economic Crisis, 2022, pp 139-172 from Springer
Abstract:
Abstract The first section of this chapter accounts for the proto-Fordist convergence of the US and Swedish responses as primary cases. While not overlooking their differences, it emphasizes their common ideational and political threads. The second section deals with the Danish and Norwegian responses with a similar emphasis but also by paying attention to the structural constraints under which they unfolded.
