Abstract: Abstract All preceding chapters of this book dealt with a historical financial statement analysisFinancial statement analysis only. As was pointed in a last section of the previous chapter, one of the major weaknesses of published corporate financial reports (and of analytical tools based on them) lies in their entirely retrospective orientation.
