Chapter Chapter 7 in Integrated Business Models in the Digital Age, 2022, pp 251-274 from Springer
Abstract:
Abstract This chapter reveals the challenges that small, medium-sized enterprises in Singapore face when launching their data analytics strategies. It starts with a literature review regarding data analytics trends, followed by introducing commonly used terms, the historical development of data analytics, the types of data analytics, challenges, and frameworks of implementing data analytics for organisations. Research methodology is introduced before the research findings from one case study organisation are shared. These are followed by five recommendations, which are expected to benefit other similar organisations, research limitations, and recommendations for future research.
