Abstract:
Abstract The analytical findings, along with an examination of the current theory, confirmed the critical role of uncertaintyuncertainty in influencing innovationinnovation in companies. In particular, innovating a productproduct and a process, along with the creation of a completely new product, is highly affected by the unpredictability of the external environmentenvironment. Entrepreneurs, managers, innovators and start-uppers have only limited tools to mitigate the adverse effects of an always changing external environment. The present chapter summarises the findings of the present book and proposes a springboard to further explore this pivotal topic of research.
