Chapter 13 in The Palgrave Companion to Chicago Economics, 2022, pp 325-342 from Springer
Abstract:
Abstract Henry Schultz was an econometric pioneer in the statistical analysis of demand curves. If he had not been killed in a car crash at the age of 45, he would probably have played a leading role in the development of the Cowles Commission at the University of Chicago. This chapter examines his life and various contributions.
