Abstract: Abstract A conversation between Odile Prémel (Head of Chanel Heritage Fashion Collections, Jewellery and Beauty) and Yumiko Hayashi (Curator and former Head for Heritage Preservation at the brand Sonia Rykiel) conducted by Sylvie Marot—Fashion Heritage Consultant and Curator. In this interview it is explored how brand heritage in all its forms may contribute not only to the preservation of the traits of the brand identity, but also to a continuous exercise of creativity.
