Abstract: Abstract Whereas the descriptive statistics covered in the previous chapter are utilized to describe or summarize data, these aggregation measures do not assist us in deriving general observations about data. Inferential statistics is a part of statistical analysis that allows us to infer (or generalize) trends about the larger population based only on the sample portion we have collected and recorded.
