Abstract: Abstract SatoshiNakamoto, HatoshiNakamoto, Satoshi created a mechanism for decentralized exchange that yields a decreasing minerminer reward structure and prophesized that transaction fees will outswamp mining fees by 2040 or 2044, unless a forkfork is agreed upon that advances this date. The bitcoin mining industry remains resolute in maintaining the lucrative Proof of Work rewards and hence electrical consumption and environmental degradation nonetheless.
