Abstract:
Abstract This chapter provides an overview of the findings of this study, considering its original purpose and highlighting aspects of relevance. The implications of the study include three possible consequences for professions and their related organisations, namely insight into the experiences of professionals of colour in respect of stigma and whiteness, awareness of the problems with the professions as cultural and political systems and guidelines for overcoming them.
