Chapter Chapter 5 in Chain Conditions in Commutative Rings, 2022, pp 393-423 from Springer
Abstract:
Abstract The rings considered in this chapter are commutative with unity. The concept of Noetherian rings is one of the most important topics that is widely used in many areas including commutative algebra and algebraic geometry. The Noetherian property was originally due to the mathematician Noether who first considered a relation between the ascending chain condition on ideals and the finitely generatedness of ideals.
