Chapter Chapter 7 in International Trade Relations of the European Union, 2022, pp 129-141 from Springer

Abstract: Abstract This chapter deals with an overall analysis of the various categories of international agreements that contain provisions on trade, despite the fact that they are not based on Article 207 TFEU as their legal basis. The chapter provides categories of international agreements that contain provisions on trade, despite the fact that they are not based on Article 133 EC (the predecessor of Article 207 TFEU). The various agreements are categorized into four main groups, namely (1) association agreements; (2) non-preferential trade and cooperation agreements; (3) partnership agreements; and (4) agreements with international organizations.
