Chapter Chapter 26 in The Economics of Catalan Separatism, 2022, pp 171-175 from Springer

Abstract: Abstract Doing Business is a World Bank publication that has been published yearly since 2004. Every year it reports on 50 indicators for economic freedom, and it contains thematic indices and general rankings on the competitiveness of each country. Given that regulation throughout the states is not implemented in a uniform manner throughout the territories, Doing Business also carries out occasional specific reports for regions and large cities. In 2015 it analysed the competitiveness of the Autonomous Communities and Cities, 17 cities and seven ports.
