Chapter Chapter 32 in The Economics of Catalan Separatism, 2022, pp 201-206 from Springer

Abstract: Abstract The constitution, closure, change of residence, capital increase or capital reduction are all indications of the development of companies and countries. A particular aspect of this business demography is a change of headquarters, company mobility, migration from a registered office, fiscal domicile, or centre of production, sales, logistics and research. There are many possible reasons for changing headquarters: proximity to the market or sources of supplies, tax regime (see Chap. 26 ), reputation, political stability, juridical security, as well as personal reasons of the owners and administrators of the company.
