Chapter Chapter 42 in The Economics of Catalan Separatism, 2022, pp 255-259 from Springer

Abstract: Abstract As a consequence of a supposed independence of Catalonia, bilateral trade with Spain, the rest of the European Union and the world would change substantially. The establishment of trade, regulatory, juridical, monetary, and fiscal borders would naturally lead to a drop in trade, activity, the GDP, employment and well-being.
