Chapter 13 in Learning and Teaching Business, 2023, pp 139-145 from Springer

Abstract: Abstract To gain and maintain speed seems to be fundamental in most contexts, not only when it comes to business, but also in academia, or even in society at large. This is a matter of prompt decision-making, implementing without procrastination or pursuing projects in steadfast ways. This is, of course, a matter of clarity—operational as well as strategic—to avoid micromanagement, i.e., let others contribute their share also, as well as to follow up decisively. In sum, this speediness signals a well-run business.
