Chapter Chapter 3 in Make Capitalism History, 2023, pp 73-88 from Springer
Abstract:
Abstract Transvolution is a third strategy for societal transformation alongside from reform and revolution. A liberation process must include needs-oriented self-organised societal constitution. In a first step, an early form of a society-constituting new way of re/production and mediation emerges. In a second step, this early form is societally generalised; it expands and creates a fundamental break with capitalism. Transvolution is a new paradigm of societal transformation linked to theories such as prefigurative and interstitial practices that can help rethink emancipatory politics.
