Chapter Chapter 13 in Dialogues Between Physics and Mathematics, 2022, pp 291-298 from Springer
Abstract:
Abstract We show that there exists “magic” superconducting states in cuprates, where the superconductivity is stronger and more robust. These magic superconducting phases take place at the doping of x ∼ 1∕n 2 (n=3 and 4, respectively) in La2−xSrxCuO4 (LSCO). We argue that these magic states are superconducting mother states intertwined by both the pair density wave and the uniform superconductivity. Their existence not only enriches the phase diagram but also help to reveal the elusive pairing mechanism in cuprates.
