Abstract:
Abstract This chapter takes a cross-country look at public and private pensions. It explains pension system in Georgia in 2004–2012 and discusses applicability of a pension system’s five pillars. It explains public employees’ compensation and the role of salaries, agile reward mechanisms and other factors in motivating civil servants.
