Abstract:
Abstract This chapter discusses Georgia’s economic fall in 1990–1995 and compares it to other post-Soviet countries. It explains Georgia’s relative stabilization in 1996–2003, challenges of those years and how they influenced Georgia’s state building from 2004. The chapter provides general takeaways on modernization of developing countries.
