Abstract: Abstract We characterise boundary-shaped disc-like neighbourhoods of certain isotropic submanifolds in terms of aperiodicity of Reeb flows.We prove uniqueness of homotopy and diffeomorphism type of such contact manifolds assuming non-existence of short periodic Reeb orbits.
