Abstract:
Abstract For current and future generations to continue to enjoy a healthy and high-quality life based on Europe’s unique social models, collective and rapid action is needed. Therefore, a strategy is needed to transform the EU into a smart, sustainable and inclusive economy characterized by high levels of employment, productivity and social cohesion. The Europe 2020 strategy responds to these requirements. It is an agenda for all Member States, which considers and responds to various needs and to national specificities, in order to promote the economic, social and political growth of the entire European Union.
