Abstract: Abstract One of the important points that Syrian refugees focus on after migration is finding a job and/or being an entrepreneur. These goals are important in terms of the sustainability of life. The status of refugees is closely related to a number of factors such as the abilities of the refugee, the minimum standards they are willing to accept for work, the acceptance of the people living in the city they migrated to, ethnic affiliation, sectoral development and diversity in the city, the attitudes of the business owners in the city to employ immigrants, and incentives or barriers to work. In this study, Syrian refugees who migrated to Konya and operate as entrepreneurs in shoe manufacturing were examined. In the study conducted with the embedded method, a semi-structured interview form was used, and 12 entrepreneurs were interviewed and their experiences in entrepreneurship were analyzed. According to the analysis and findings obtained, what being a Syrian brings in the context of entrepreneurship, its advantages and disadvantages, and the reasons for choosing Konya are presented within the framework of defined conditions.
