Abstract: Abstract This book is the volume III of a series of essays on the unified theory of capitalism. The previous two volumes were also published by Palgrave Macmillan Springer (Figueroa in The quality of society: Essays on the unified theory of capitalism, Palgrave Macmillan Springer, 2019; The quality of society, volume I: Essays on the unified theory of capitalism. Palgrave Macmillan Springer, 2021). This will be the last volume of the series. The core of the unified theory was presented through formal models in two books (Figueroa in Growth, employment, inequality, and the environment: Unity of knowledge in economics. Vol. I & II. Palgrave Macmillan, 2015; Economics of the Anthropocene age. Palgrave Macmillan Springer, 2017).
