Beyond Episteme: The Concept of Order

Alain Herscovici ()

Chapter Chapter 8 in Value, Historicity, and Economic Epistemology, 2023, pp 185-210 from Springer

Abstract: Abstract In this chapter, I carry out the following synthesis. It is about answering the following question: to what extent can these three controversies be explained from the analysis made by Foucault? After having identified the explanatory limits of the concept of episteme, I propose to substitute the concept of episteme for the concept of order.
