Abstract Finally, we can assess Foucault's contribution to the History of Economic Thought and, more generally, to the analysis of the ideas and concepts developed by the Economic Theory. Foucault highlights the intrinsic historicityHistoricity of scientific production in general, and of Economic Science in particular. This perspective seems of first importance today.
