Abstract:
Abstract “Symmetry is a vast subject, significant in art and nature. Mathematics lies at its root, and it would be hard to find a better one on which to demonstrate the working of the mathematical intellect.” Thus unfolds a famous quote by the German mathematician Hermann Weyl. Weyl, above, refers to the fertile intersection of symmetry with mathematics, and that is where our project takes root as well. Nature and the cosmos supply us with limitless evidence of an inherent symmetry. When we look around ourselves, we discover that almost everything around us on earth is symmetrically fashioned. Both our arts and our sciences arise from a wide-eyed wonder at this miraculous inheritance.
