Chapter 4 in Supply Network 5.0, 2023, pp 103-137 from Springer
Abstract:
Abstract This chapter examines the implications of extending the concept of industry 5.0 from single organizations to supply networks. It analyzes the first and principal component of the supply network 5.0 framework: the human-automation-machine collaboration. The aim is to adequately address the most prominent elements of the supply network 5.0 framework and provide real-world evidence of the economic and organizational benefits these instruments deliver to organizations. It defines several possible models, each one with its benefits and challenges. It considers people management in a supply network 5.0, their characteristics, and the kind of selection, training, and support they need.
