Chapter Chapter 11 in Food Security in the Economy of the Future, 2023, pp 101-111 from Springer
Abstract:
Abstract The relevance of the problem of effectively using the investment of agricultural cooperatives, ensuring food security, and increasing the rate of exports of agricultural products and employment of the rural population in the regional economy of Central Asia is a priority for the development of the country. The paper aims to define a new market approach to the effective use of attracted investments in agricultural cooperatives using the lands of the State Fund of Agricultural Land for the production and sale of agricultural products under conditions of regional integration. To achieve this goal, the authors set and solved a complex of interrelated theoretical and methodological tasks, analyzed the dynamics of the development of economic entities for several years, and calculated the profitability of agricultural cooperatives using mathematical modeling. The authors apply methods of comparative statistical analysis to determine the indicators of gross domestic product, the share of commodity production of agricultural products (according to the National Statistical Committee of the Kyrgyz Republic), and mathematical modeling (using analytical and multifactor mathematical models of forecasting) to find out the effectiveness of investment by agricultural cooperatives. The research object is agriculture. The research novelty lies in the fact that the scientific idea of the conditionality of the development of agricultural cooperatives in terms of attracting investment with the use of land is put forward for the first time. As a result of the research, it was noted that strengthening the role of the government aimed at expanding land plots from the State Fund of Agricultural Land and the full provision of investment of agricultural cooperatives on favorable terms contributed to profit through the export of agricultural products in accordance with the agreement of the Customs Code of the Eurasian Economic Union (April 11, 2017) in Central Asia and foreign countries.
