Abstract:
Abstract This Chapter continued to present case studies in cryptocurrency fraud. It began with a discussion of The Hydrogen Technology Corporation case. The discussion of this case dealt with issues related to market making and the unregistered offer and sale of securities. The chapter next discussed the Sparkster case. The analysis of this case also dealt with allegations of the promotion of unregistered offers and the sale of crypto assets. This case also deals with the requirements of influencers to disclose compensation for promoting ICOs and token sales.
