Chapter Chapter 2 in Introduction to Quantum Groups, 2022, pp 27-53 from Springer
Abstract:
Abstract In this chapter we introduce the compact quantum groups. Let us start with the finite case, which is elementary, and easy to explain. The idea will be that of calling “finite quantum groups” the compact quantum spaces G appearing via a formula of type A = C(G), with the algebra A being finite-dimensional, and having some suitable extra structure.
