Abstract: Abstract The notion of two-dimensional manifolds of bounded curvature was introduced by A. D. Alexandrov in [1, 2, 4]. The theory of these manifolds, based on synthetic methods, is currently under development by A. D. Alexandrov together with a colleague of the Leningrad Division of Mathematical Institute of the Academy of Sciences of USSR, V. A. Zalgaller.
