Chapter Chapter 7 in Ordinary Differential Equations, 2023, pp 239-252 from Springer
Abstract:
Abstract In this chapter we consider the Laplace transform (Pierre-Simon Laplace (1749–1827), a French scientist) which allows to transform some types of differential equations into algebraic equations. It is especially useful for solving linear ODEs with constant or piecewise constant coefficients, as well as integral equations introduced in Chap. 11.
