Abstract: Abstract Purpose: The comparative effects of Ganoderma lucidum and Tetracycline as dietary additives on aquaculture indices and nutritive values of African catfish were evaluated. Design/Methodology/Approach: Juveniles (n = 15, mean weight: 9.00 ± 0.06g) were given diets of 40% crude protein containing:(0.5% TET1- 1% TET2) and 0.75% (GLM1), 1.5% (GLM 2),3% (GLM 3), 6% (GLM 4), 9% (GLM 5) and Control (0.0%), twice a day (morning and evening), at five percent body weight for 84days using a Completely Randomized Experimental Design. The Average Weight Gain (AWG); Specific Growth Rate (SGR), proximate and mineral composition of fish carcasses were evaluated. Data were subjected to statistical analyses using mean, percentages and analysis of variance (ANOVA) at (α 0.05). Findings: The maximum AWG (53.99 ± 0.32g) was obtained from fish given GLM2 diet while the minimum(30.52 ± 0.02g) was recorded from fish given the control diet. The SGR (0.96 ± 0.02%/day) was significantly different (P
