Promoting Fair Markets
Georges Ugeux
A chapter in Wall Street’s Assault on Democracy, 2023, pp 213-216 from Springer
Abstract:
Abstract It is vital to understand the various aspects that contribute, both in the public and private sectors, to transforming financial markets into a gigantic machine that crushes equity. A democracy that allows a system that neither imposes nor exercises societal responsibilities is not trustworthy. The events of 2020 were a life-size demonstration of the disconnection of markets in a major economic and employment crisis.
