Chapter Chapter 17 in Libertarian Autobiographies, 2023, pp 93-96 from Springer
Abstract:
Abstract In this chapter the author tells his story of growing up in the Polish People’s Republic and then rediscovering this experience as a source of his political and philosophical transformation. He talks about the hardships of life under socialism and recalls various personal and literary influences that finally brought him into libertarianism. He reminisces his teachers and mentors and describes long-lasting friendships that he found within Austro-libertarian circles. Pondering on what fascinates him the most in this freedom philosophy, he discusses Walter Block’s legacy and the method of thinking that can be called libertarian casuistry.
