Abstract:
Abstract Antony Peter Mueller is a professor of economics currently at the Federal University of Sergipe (UFS) in Brazil. He grew up in West Germany and attended the University of Erlangen-Nürnberg (FAU-UEN) where he studied economics, law, political science, and philosophy along with foreign languages. He holds a doctorate summa cum laude in economics and obtained the postdoctoral habilitation degree to gain a full professorship in economic sciences. Besides his special interest in Austrian Economics, Antony Mueller’s areas of research include macroeconomics, monetary economics, and European economic and monetary integration. He is an associate scholar of the Ludwig von Mises Institute in the United States and a member of Merit of the Brazilian Mises Institute where he serves as a professor at the Institute’s Mises Academy.
