Chapter Chapter 53 in Libertarian Autobiographies, 2023, pp 307-313 from Springer

Abstract: Abstract Born under the communist regime, Radu Nechita discovered the value of individual freedom in his familial environment and thanks to an exceptional opportunity to live and travel abroad during his childhood. As a student, he attended lectures and summer schools organized by talented advocates of individual rights. After a BA degree in economics (Babeș-Bolyai University, Romania), he continued his studies in France (Master and Ph.D. degree, Paul Cézanne University). He decided to bring back to Romania his teaching experience and share his passion for liberty. Since then, he is organizing the “Friedrich von Hayek Seminar”, an extracurricular weekly series of interactive lectures. Persuaded that economic education is the only cure for demagoguery, he is a regular contributor to mainstream mass media.
