Abstract:
Abstract A short autobiography of author, lecturer, and documentary filmmaker Johan Norberg, Senior Fellow at the Cato Institute. He started out as a young anarchist in Sweden who ran a speakeasy with friends to protest against licensing laws. Thinkers like Hayek and Rand set him on another intellectual path, and through his work on free trade and globalization, he established an international reputation. He went on to make documentaries for US public television and write books like In Defense of Global Capitalism, Progress, and Open, translated into more than 30 languages.
