Chapter Chapter 68 in Libertarian Autobiographies, 2023, pp 401-406 from Springer
Abstract:
Abstract The text traces Josef Šíma’s intellectual development in discovering the ideas of a free market society, which culminated in many years of work to popularize the ideas of the Austrian School in his country of birth, the Czech Republic. The fall of the communist systems in Central Europe in 1989, the subsequent economic transition, and the discovery of centers of free market thought in the United States played a crucial role in this process.
